GODDESSES — SEASON TWO:
THE CULTURE WITHIN
The term Goddess first appeared in the early 1500s, rooted in ancient Egyptian reverence for divine femininity — Goddesses of Beauty, Love, Motherhood, and Fertility. Today, in the 21st century, women no longer need to pray to or worship Goddesses… because they already are.
In 2018, I returned to my homeland, Honduras, carrying a vision — to celebrate our Latino culture while honoring the essence of GODDESS. I wanted something more ambitious, something that would stretch my creativity to its fullest.
Season Two became a journey of tradition, beauty, and storytelling. I decided to incorporate videography, bringing to life the spirit of Latin America. Each participant would wear the traditional attire of her country — a tribute to heritage — and, if she knew it, share the art of her traditional dance. If not, she would simply showcase the beauty of her culture through her clothing.
This is not just a project. It is a celebration. Ten women. Ten cultures. One Goddess spirit.
This is only the beginning.
This is only the beginning.
